A booking & deposit system for a beauty & photography with service selection, deposits, reminders, and owner admin into one connected flow.

Before
H.E.M Studios already had a public website and a booking page, but the booking setup was starting to fight the way the business actually wants to scale. Acuity could take appointments, but it did not comfortably handle the studio’s different service rules: portrait sessions charged by the hour, brow services requiring consent before payment, deposits, remaining balances, add-ons, and different travel fees. The owner still needed a clearer way to manage bookings, payments, client details, service rules, and follow-ups from one place without bending the business around a generic scheduler and scattered tools
After
Clients still discover H.E.M Studios through the existing website, but booking now happens through a custom flow built around the studio’s real services. A client chooses a service, adds extras where relevant, picks a date and time, sees the deposit, tax, remaining balance, and any travel fee before paying, then receives confirmation by email. Brow clients complete their intake and consent before payment. Portrait clients choose how many hours they need, and the calendar blocks the full session. Inside the admin dashboard, the owner can manage services, bookings, payments, clients, gallery items, settings, and follow-ups from one owner view while the booking system handles confirmations, reminders, and payment links automatically.
